A print journalist by training, Dave Haynes spent 15 years in newsrooms and then led efforts to make his paper one of the first in North America to go online. He left newspapers in 1999 to join Elevator News Network (now Captivate), and was VP Operations. He began Concourse Media in 2003 (still operating) and has developed business for major industry software companies (EnQii, BroadSign). Preset and pressDOOH were both launched in 2009.
DCC Personal Vision
There’s no end of people talking a good game about how content is king and all the blah, blah, blah that goes with that, but the DCC is the first genuine effort I have seen to tap the expertise that’s out there and actually raise the quality level through shared advice and experiences. I hope the contributions that have been made are just a start, and that many more people also contribute their ideas.
